Huatusco is the municipality with the largest coffee production in the state of Veracruz. Its privileged geographic location makes it one of the places with the best climatic conditions for the adaptation of the bean. Although the orography is irregular, this coffee is produced on the slopes and ravines to make the most of the hours of shade.
This Mexican specialty coffee is grown at an average altitude of 1,300 meters above sea level, which gives the bean excellent organoleptic quality, promoting its fruity nuances and pronounced citric acidity.
The quality of this coffee is so good that it has won the Cup of Excellence competition of the Mexican coffee association AMECAFE on several occasions.
