In order to process your order, we require some information from you. We do not ask for more data than strictly necessary. We know that you've placed your trust in us. We therefore see it as our responsibility to protect your privacy and treat your data confidentially. On this page we explain what data we collect when you use our website, why we collect this data and how you can have this data removed.
Koffiemaatje respects the privacy of all users of its website and ensures that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially.
We never make your information available to third parties for commercial purposes.
Processing Your Data
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), what security techniques we use and to whom the data may be accessible.
Our web shop, through Shopify
We purchase web hosting and email services from Argeweb. Argeweb processes personal data on our behalf and does not use this data for its own purposes. However, Argeweb may collect metadata about the use of its services. These are not personal data. Argeweb has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent loss and unauthorised use of your personal data. Argeweb is bound to secrecy under the agreement.
For handling the payments in our store, we use the platform of Mollie Payments. Mollie Payments works together with banks and credit card companies to process payments as securely as possible. Mollie Payments processes data related to your name, address and place of residence and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie Payments has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie Payments will not retain your data any longer than permitted by law.
We collect reviews through the platform of WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you must enter your name, place of residence and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us, so we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on their own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation regarding your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They will only use this information for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of providing the service, for which we have given WebwinkelKeur permission. All the above guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal details also apply to those parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.
Shipping and Logistics
When you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to get your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL/Bpost to perform the deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence, if applicable, with DHL/Bpost. These providers use the data only for the purpose of delivering your order. In the event that DHL/Bpost engages subcontractors, the provider will also make data available to these parties.
Invoicing and Bookkeeping
To keep our records and accounts we use the software of E-Bookkeeping. We share your name, address and place of residence details and information regarding your order. These details are used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data are transmitted and stored in a protected manner. E-Bookkeeping is obliged to secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. E-Bookkeeping will not use your personal data for other purposes than described above.
